The Beginning

Well, this is it. the beginning of the end.

Actually, not really an end. Unless you are considering an end to my Xanga account, and the beginning of my blogger account.
Hopefully I will use this more.
And this just feels better than using facebook notes.

Anyways, it is the beginning of October 2008, and I am getting ready for Fall Break, which is next week.

MOVIES:
"Burn After Reading." It is a different kind of movie for certain, and to an average Joe, it would not be enjoyable. However, if you can appreciate the great amount of talent, as well as fast-paced humor and quick conversation, I think this movie will be to your liking, both in humor, and in surprise. Other than that, I cannot say much without spoiling the movie.
"No Country for Old Men" I finally saw this one, after all the buzz, and thought it deserved everything it was given. Javier Bardem, who won an Oscar for the movie, was excellent, spooky, and pulled his character off perfectly. Tommy Lee Jones played his role well also, and although similar to most of his previous, it never gets old, and almost makes you feel at home. Not too much more to say about the movie. It was good, but not one to put in the DVD player every week.

MUSIC:
Just got my hands on the new NEVERTHELESS cd, "In the Making," and love EVERYTHING about it. From every sang, to the album art, everything about this CD is spectacular. It talks about issues that are relevant to everyone, goes to extremes, not afraid of taking risks, and incorporates their old sound, as well as a newer sound, involving more piano. I love it, and say that it is TOTALLY worth getting.

TV:
Grey's Anatomy: Well, it IS good to be back in the hospital. It is good to SEE all of my favorite people. It IS expected for there to be SOME drama/bickering/annoyingness/etc. But I did not expect it to be the whole time. It seemed that EVERYONE in the hospital was having "that time of the month," and it was getting frustrating. However, I did love every minute of it. There was a guest star appearance by Bernadette Peters, which was excellent, and a VERY good decision for the premiere. Overall, it was good.
The Office: WOW. Greatness. Great set up, from different times of the summer, great writing, and a great event! An engagement. I was so happy, and watched it over and over. Love love love it and have missed it so.

That is all I will cover for today.
Until tomorrow, this is Jacob, have a blessed day!
